Got up and started on the Golf today, got the choke working so it ticks over sweet as a nut, gave it a service and managed to get the speedo and rev counter working Then gave it a wash and polish and took some pics




Now i got all the dash working it turns out that it has half a tank of fuel in, result

Not got any plans for the coupe really, as its so nice and comfy as it is Whereas driving the golf is a differnt world

You have a really nice pair there!

One suggestion though, get some vw/audi alloys for the golf or even some porsche replicas and it will be perfect

Yeh the Evo R's are rather dated now and are not in good condition

Dunno if i can afford to keep the golf tho as wasn't looking to trade the BMW but due to the circumstances i had to

Can't afford to keep the golf as need to be able to run the astra and 2 lots of insurance would be way to much

Gonna try it on ebay i reckon
