just got myself a procomp carbon bonnet for a bargain 50 quid it has slight fading in the middle but it was not bought for looks it weighs less than half the weight of original.

paint it the same colour as the motor mate n itll be fine....
mind u ahd prefer the tired look of carbon fibre.

dont paint it - find a carbon works :wink: and get them to apply a clear gel coat on top - will cost about £20 max I should think and it'll bring it up fantastically
If u live soemwhere near a port or marina that has yachts - then u'll find fibreglas and carbon works easily - oterwise look for composite technologies in the yellow pages
Gel coat is atype of resin ( can be clear or coloured) mainly used on yacht hulls as the outer laminate coat - and is a protective slightly thicker layer of polyester
