need some help really, what they like for running, reliabitly, spares, service costs etc?
they expensive to keep running?
seen a really nice green/blue one near me,
L reg, 2.0GTI 16, 90k, 16's, mint bodywork, full leather (slight wear on drivers side) £3900 from garage what you think?

Erm my mate bought a t-bar 2.0 (k reg) for 3500 towards end of last year. Nice car. But back end can come out if not carefull. I think his had done about 70000 miles. Sounds a tad high but i suppose it is a garage.

My old man had one exactly the same as that apart from 45k miles! Never had a problem with it at all!
Expensive when they do go wrong but they are pretty bullet proof!

i know it high mileage for price but i thought about making offer of £3200. It looks sooo nice not a dent/scratch on it.
might go back and have another look.
do you now what power they are? tunability etc? many performance parts about for them?

These are lush! Especially in Black, but it has to be the Twin Entry Turbo Version

not much out tuning wise for the N/As. Exhaust, filter, cams, chip think thats about it. standard they range from about 150bhp to 174bhp. have a look on MR2OC.co.uk for more info

I done filter & Exhaust on mine and it did feck all Sounded alright I guess

Nice cars, nearly bought one myself (turbo) but decided on gt4 as wanted 4 seats. That one sounds overpriced, look in autotrader ebay etc can pick good one up for about 2k.

are the twin entry turbo ones Imports tho? coz i cant get insurance on import else id get a pulsar gtir. Looking for either a Celica/MR2 or 306 GTi6 rallye
really like the look of MR2 and rear wheel dirve
if turbo ones are uk spec and not imports then i may look into it further. just saw this one on forecourt as i droped wheels in for new tyres

The GT4's are meant to be better cars as they have 4 seats, 4WD and better intercoolers so more reliable i was told.....

if you read the thread i was originally after info on a Naturally Asp 2.0GTi16 MR 2, 1994.
just wanted to know what bhp was, reliability, service costs. parts etc????
because there is a v.nice one near me for sale
