I have my corsa for sale in the ad trader and someone phoned me from a place called Matching Cars, asking if i want to advertise with them. I guess they got my number from the ad trader. The bloke said that they have 4 people interested, but to pass my details on they need £79.99, and got quite pushy when i mentioned i'd have to wait for my dad to come in, as he'd be paying for it.

Has anyone hear/dealt with these people before, as it sounded a bit like a scam?

Heared similar things from people who've advertised in Autotrader and on their website. Thing is the person who's interested is gonna have to pay to be told about the car too, so why wouldnt they just look on the Autotrader Website for free .

Its just an agency. They've phoned me everytime i have an advert in autotrader or paper. Just ignore them.

How it works is people leave details of cars they are looking for and the agencies get hold of this and phone around every car they see that is close to their description. Its bullshit.
