on the 19th of august someone pulled out in front of me at a busy juntion in aberdeen which ended up with me getting taken to hospital and both cars being written off. Anyway I claimed my own insurance as they said it would be quicker to get me back on the road, still took them 3 months to replace my car and my solicitor told me ages ago that the third party was not accepting fault and they had spoken to my witness several times taking statements but still denied fault. yesterday I got a letter in the post from solicitor saying "Please find attached an interim payment of £335.00 in respect of your Policy Excess of £325.00 and General Inconvenienve of £10.00, which we have received from the Third Party Insurer's.

As you are no doubt well aware, you were without the use of a vehicle for a considerable time following this RTA and as such, we are in the process of intimating a nominal claim for Loss of Use on your behalf.

We trust this payment will assist you and confoirm that we will contact you again regarding the balance of the claim as soon as possible"

Am i right in thinking the other guy has finally admitted fault?

sorry for the essay!
