ok, started lowering the car yesterday. got almost done when a gay nut decided to fuck the thread up. ive still not sorted that bit but ive been and fitted my new clear lights so i thought i would post some pics

here is what she was like before:

-------------

and here is her now  (the back end was still standard when these pics where taken )

-------------

i think new arches are in order ... put my elbow through the rust so summer time its getting dropped off to the bodyshop

-------------

this is the nut that was / still is giving me grief (check here for more info)

i know the rubber thing isnt on at the moment, it a temp measure until a new bolt can be sourced...

-------------

here are the newly installed lights, need to get some red bulbs for the top bits as one is broke and the other is white . also there illegal lights so need to sort the red/clear cluster out asap. if i cant do it or something fucks up ill just get some red light tint and do it that way (rear cluster poll)

-------------

once ive got the bolt sorted at the back the suspension should sit proper. and once ive cleaned it and polished it (when a nice day comes) ill get some more pics up in the images section

future plans now are:

sort the rust out best i can!
alloys
16v brakes
some sort of exhaust

thats it for now....

took us so long to get that done, have some pics of us working in the snow, will post latter. and driving back from B&Q with no rubber and the suspension moving up and down and side to side was not fun.

quick update cos im bored:

the new nut didnt fit to the spax suspension. so im going to have to either find the bolt or ring spax and ask if they do the bolts seperate!

currently im running 3 uprated shocks and 1 standard with spax springs allround. not the best by anymeans but it will do for now

just finished my custom lights, these are now fitted, then ill need to clean the car and take some better pics once everything is sorted

these pics taken on my phone, hence the quality
