A woman at work has a mint one in black as might be selling it. Has the 6 spoke 15" Vauxhall alloys on too.
Will it have a C20XE engine though?

Should be a redtop.

Does it have the 16v badges on the back, thats pretty much a giveaway.

E plate onwards astra GTE 16v
First ones had coscast heads
Then Cav GSI 2000 and 2000 4wd, up to J plate,
then cav sri from J plate to L plate had 2.0 XE (red top)

From H to M the calibra 16v had a red top,
the later ones, (L onward) have distributorless ingnition packs ( featured on very last cav GSi's as well)

It will be a 16v, but not a red top.

It will be an Ecotec on this year.

Had a look and the engine has a silver rocking cover with a black strip saying ecotec.

This not a C20XE? Has 16V badges on the back.

Some Cavaliers are out there with C20XE in 94/5 bloke at work has one. Totaly std. Ecotec Came out Year before origionaly in the Omega then subsequntly the Cavalier and Astra got the lump.
