Was on the way to work today and was about 20 mins early so i thought i would stop in McDonalds and get a Bacon Bun meal thingy
Went to go back to my car to tuck in to my bacon bun and hash browns and noticed water underneath the engine and some steam coming from underneath the bonnet.
So i quickly chucked my food in the car and opened up my bonnet. I had water everywhere and loads of steam, so i feared the worst.
I carefully opened the water coolant tank to see what was left and i heard a load of water piss out. Went to quickly look where from and it was from a hose to the left rear of the engine. It had about a 10cm split all along it.
Had to get picked up by my mate to get to work. Hopefully i can get a hose in a Garage in Bristol and go fix it on tonight and drive home carefully.
Think i might ring up RAC or AA and take out some breakdown cover because that would have been handy when stuck in a McDonalds car park

i'm trying to ring around a couple of part suppliers but they can't tell me if they have the part if they don't know the number on the hose.
Just wondering if someone else could have a look for me or tell me the name of it. Its the hose basically opposite on the back of the engine to the radiator hose that goes directly to the engine.
The hose looks like it goes to the back of the engine bay where another one comes out next to it. I take it this is for the in car heaters. here is a rough pic on my engine to an arrow were it is located. Its basically underneath the one on the top.
