40k for 3 acres is cheap, we sold 1/2 acre for 20k!
hevingham is nice area, my dad is the agronomist for a large farm there

nope, someone that tells the farmers what pesticides, insecticides, fertilizers, nitrates, lime etc to put onto the crops!
basically dads in charge of about 500,000 acres across norfolk, suffolk and essex and has to walk aroudn these farms looking for bugs etc and reccomend a chemical/ solution to iradicate the problem

yep i know dear!
we used to own a farm, missus dad owns 3000 acres and people just offer silly cash to buy land and built huge houses on. Then the council complain when he dont sell as its in the green belt of development!
Unfortunatley its the way it goes, and will just get worse.
Norfolk is one of the only places i know that time has pretty much stood still for 10 years + in parts
