Alpine/Pioneer - if you look at around 200 quid, then the Pioneer77MP is amazing If you've got about 300 then i would opt for alpine - just because lower end alpine stuff doesnt sound all that (hence pioneer are good)...but as soon as you start getting into the 300/400 quid area alpine are pretty sweet

spend £300-400 on a nakamichi and hear the difference, plus it doesn't look like a space age christmas tree.

depends what u after really, could just go to halfords and pick out one that "looks wicked man"
