is there a proper 'how to' for this, as i wanna do it but havent really got a clue where to start!

theres not but the basics are as follows

You need to cut a lot from the sides as the corsa dash is round and the astra is oval.
Best thing is to cut a small piece and try to fit.
You neet to cut a V out of the metal lower part of the dash, because the dash is 4 cm wider.
It is possible that the dash only fits with a lot of force on the sides.
No prob, close the doors for a few days and the dash will keep its shape.
Best way to work also is with your windscreen removed makes it Easier to fit the dash. The middle bolt on the dash needs to be longer also.

i assume by the sides its at the back along the window. dont really fancy taking my windscreen out, guess its a trial and error kinda thing then? hopefully should look good once finished tho

can look good if done properly, and not sure mate i was lookin at doin it and i was told that by some one who has done it

he's the Dutch guy who is building a wide arches corsa...maybe do a search to see if there was more about the dash question...

found out today i can get the dash for £20, but the only ones they had were pale grey or blue (low spec models) so now need to find a later spec astra mk3 then the project shall comence
