Just another observation i've noticed from reading beardy's and adams posts.
You would be better of getting a better fuel pressure regulator, the standard one you are planning to use on quite a high spec xe is up to the job but can be unreliable.
When i had my sbd setup i plumbed in a fuel pressure gauge to the standard fse regulator i had and the reading fluctuates madly. If you are stressing the engine by reving to 8krpm the last thing you want is for the fuel pressure to drop off and run lean, especially when using expensive high compression pistons.
I upgraded to the blacktop fse pump and it was far more stable.
I believe lee hearsey from mig had problems with his fse base spec regulator.
