As subject what's the best software to edit movies on your PC?

Want to be able to remove frames, blank out sections, dub sound over etc...

Suggestions?

Adobe Premiere its semi-professional/professional and does near enough everything you want to do with editing

The only thing i say is that you get your hands on version 6 rather than the new 7 - as it is alot easier to get to grips with Although, 7 has tons of more features but they have made it a bit of a pain in the arse to use for simple editing (like removing frames, envelopes on sound and video, fades etc etc)

aye, you will have to this if you want it really accurate - or you can create a blur box and automate it across the frames, but obviously it can look a bit cack

As for getting hold of Premiere....all good software stores sell it (type it into google followed by torrent )

you can just add a adjustable layer, then put a gaussian blur on it then use the follow motion to keep it in the same place
