I'm in the process of selling the Cup at the minute so I've been looking at alternatives. What do you think to these? Or would you just go for the normal Coupe Turbo? Insurance is actually £25 cheaper than the Clio.
I fancy going to look at this one.

I wouldn't go out of my way for a 888.
Nice kit, a bit more exclusive than the regular Coupe and an overall nice car... but it's nothing amazing at the end of the day.

Nice car and you are unlikely to see another one on the road, but the build quality is supposed to be crap, and they are not that quick to be honest.
Used to have an SE1 and had a go in my mates 888. Not that impressed and it rattled to hell LOL

So I'm probably better off saving a few quid and getting the normal Turbo.

888's are pretty rare any way. There are only 90 left out of what was made. I was quite impressed when I went out in the Jon Walsh borrowed to take to the Nurburg ring. Nice driving position, good handling, excellent braking. I'd have one.

TBH I personally don't like the astra coupe shape
but wouldn't go out my way either for a 888

you have got it all wrong,
i have driven this actual car and its quick enough belive me,
there nothing like a normal astra coupe,
the ride is spot on, handles so well id go as far to say one of the best handling cars ive ever driven,
loads more features than the normal ones,(quickshift, suspension, brakes, interior etc etc all different!)
come and test drive it and im telling you, you will be impressed,
i was very unsure when he bought it but it converted me is a lovly car
oh and theres no way that a gt would beat this, ive had a gt and he has and these go very well,
can drive it so fast cos the handleing and brakes are spot on
get ureself downa dn have a look mate!

How many were originally made? Why are there only 90 left?
