Discs will fit, but I'd bet on the calipers fouling the backs of the wheels.

Thought they may the wheels are ET44 and 6" wide.

6" won't leave much room at all.
I've got 7J IIRC with ET45 and still needed a very thin shim of a spacer to clear.

Will probably stick to my Cav GSi set up and invest in better discs, pads and upgrade the brake lines then.

I'd say they should be fine under a 16's here's my 288's under a 16...

and if Reyland can get 305 x 24 4-potters under a 15" MO then your bound to get a 1 pot caliper under a 16....

Vectra SRIs came with 288 disks as standard so I dont see a reason why not.

4 pot calipers tend to be a lot slimmer than single pot too.

^ slimmer in terms of disc diameter but not offset i.e how far out to the spokes they go....
