Doh ^ if im a bloody bailiff I know what a CCJ is Im on about the programme on the net? The way you normally do it is by having a 'letter of staisfication' which you then send to the County Court that issued the writ and have the debt marked as satisfied on the records...

Yes it does, marked as satisfied though if you pay the fee and ask for it to be - not brilliant but better than just having dirty gr8 CCJ on the records - it shows that youve paid it off...
How big was the CCJ if you dont mind me asking? Its funny, the number of people I visit with pretty hooge debts, went to one the other day £25K owing to Capital One and he didnt seemed bothered about his credit history...
Have you managed to sort out your debts?

thing is as long as it is satisfied banks etc are legally not allowed to take it into consideration when making credit decisions, so even if it stays on your record for three years it cant be held against you

even if you've come to an arrangement with a credit card company that you will pay back £1 per month where i work you have to ignore that when making decisions. shit imo

the lender u owe money to will want the money before the ccj will show on your credit history as being satisfied.
personally i cant see anyway these internet things can remove the ccj, unless they are a sneaky way to get you to lend money to pay off the ccj that is outstanding, and then u end up back to square one....in debt.

Its unreal how easily ppl can get credit... Some people I see are out of work, living with friends, on benefits and have NO assets - who in there right mind would loan money to these ppl?
One of claimants that we deal most with is for ADT fire & security, they have soo many bad debts its untrue, think they must be catching people out with their small print!!
