Started on y brothers little install yesterday.
Saturday was the deciding who we were going to do stuff and get the frame work done.
Then today was getting the floor cut and the amps mounted.
Going ok so far but now waiting for stuff to dry (No more nails etc) so this is it for now.
Hopfully get some more done in the week and finished by/over next weekend.

The floor is raised to clear under the amps and the 'floor' will be hinged so each side will hinge towards the side of the car allowing access to the spare still.

Tyre weld wont fix splits in the side walls like I have had before.
Also once you use tyre weld the tyre needs to be thrown away and cant just be repaired like normal

Just used 12mm.
Brought a big sheet of it from B&Q for £9 but I still have about 2/3rds of it left over.

12mm is probably right for the floor, but sumthin more thicker is needed for sub boxes

get the big sheet and get bnq to cut it into 3 pieces, that way i got 4 big sheets in mine...
id say 18mm mdf is better than 12 in all areas, possibly even thicker than that for boxs, depending on the subs...
