going to lower my car 40mm, but im not too sure how to. the car is on 15" alloys. I was just going to lower it with a set of springs but ive heared that it can wear out the shocks quicker and the ride would be terrable, so would it be better going for the springs (cheap way) or going for a set of springs and dampers, can anyone tell me the best wayamd some places to get them.
thanks

I would lower with shorter springs and matching dampers

Well if your gonna lower your car by 40mm i would say get a full kit.

People say that 40mm is fine on standard shock but they will still eventually die a lot quicker.I'd say get a full kit but then again you need a good one or the ride will be harsh which uness your tracking the car all the time on UK roads there's no point.

Try Eibach gear

0151 709 8585, you're better visiting if you can as its primarily a workshop and not a showroom and its better to see the stuff rather than just talk about it. They carry FK stuff but might only be coilovers. Tell them you got the details off here.
