Night before last some dopey woman wrote my car off for me but she has admitted liability, the courtesy car has to match or better my engine size and car class doesnt it? (I HAD a 1.4 16v GLS corsa) her insurance ppl are saying that their rental car company wil only give me a 1.1 micra because i am only 18.....
would i be right in telling the rental car ppl that they hav to give me a better car?

hmm unfrotunately its because of our age mate i rember getting a 1litre corsa with dual controls for my courtesy car
But saying that i once had an sxi also but i'd take what ever you been given personally unless your insurance company wants to give you something decent and charge the other parties insurer

The same happened to me about a week and half ago. I had a Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 16V Sport, and a woman went into the back of me accepting it was her fault.
I was given a '04 reg Fiat Punto 1.2 Active!! It tops out at 92mph but I was just grateful to get something the same day it happened as I rely on a car for work e.t.c.
Definately get a hire car as I have been told it speeds up the claim process, as it is costing the insurance company money due to the hire fees until they sort out paying out for your wrote off car.
