my old bonnet had it and it was welded...

but i cant seem to get the welder in the hole and a local welder i know said it would make the bonnet to flimsy or somthing :S i dont think i can get some fibreglass into them small holes either :S

any ideas?

dont forget you need jets to pass the MOT so replace them else were.

mine was fibr glass from inside then smoothed over ontop.

cut a small piece of metal big enough for the hole, weld it on top, grind lots and lots till its near smooth and then filler, i am goin try mine from underneith, cuttin the strengthenin a little to get the plate underneith.

Its done from underneath. You cant do it from above, it'll never be flat!

mine is welded from underneath, didnt think it would be hard just cut small strip that fits through the whole, hold it in place and a few wee stiches and roberts your fathers brother
