i think interscope, aftermath and Shady records are the same label just different parts of it... couldn't really see Eminem turnin his back on Dre and his label after what he has done for him..

Plus three companies spread the work evenly less taxes

I think its like this:
Interscope > Aftermath > Shady > G-Unit

Interscope is dres label. Dre made a label called aftermath, and signed eminem to it. eminem made shady records, and signed d12, and 50 cent/g-unit. g-unit signed The Game.
