Do I also have to cancel the direct debit?

I've been given a 30 day disconnection notice which means my phone will be dead as of the 27th of Feb. I would've asked the O2 person but forgot

my phone is dead on the 11th of feb.

i didnt know you have to cancel the direct debit, becuase o2 wont take any further payments out so whats the need to cancel?

Not sure but she said something about reinbursing me for something or other . Think i'll wait til after the 27th and see what happens. Won't do any harm I guess. I should have listened harder to what she was saying rather than watching sky sports news

ye she said about reebursing me but that was about money i paid for delivary of another phone which i cancelled.

Mine was for some useage during the next month or something. Doesnt mean much as I don't use it anymore.
