converted some music vids ready to put on me mobile
put on usb drive to put on laptop then use IR to send it over
only to find out the laptop doesnt have IR
me no happy, thought all lappys had IR
old one did but got lost in the post n got this brand new replacement grrr

was gona but gettin bluetooth keyboard soon so was gona wait for that.
got IR on other laptop but wont get to use it til friday ahhh well

what you using to convert movies etc??

i wanted to wack some wicked porno nismo sent me and i got it down to about 4megs from about 16, and it took about 40mins via bluetooth...and even then realplayer wouldnt open it

yea bluetooth is shite, its propper slow, but i dont think IR is much faster and i cant get a cable for the 6600

My laptop doesn't have IR either
I got a cheap Bluetooth dongle for £10 and that does the trick. Easy peasy to use.

nah just do all ure stuff at 1ce....bluetooth will take ages (depending on the chips u have either side...) compared to a card reader
