My main pwer supply for my P.C went bang. I was on the net and my computer went off so i pulled it forward and it came back on, so i put it back and it went off again so i pulled it out and wiggled the wire and it went with a big flash and bang. So thats more money i have to fork out

you may need to replace motherboard, cpu, ram, hdd, dvd/cd rom... anything else plugged into it...
when i used to work repairing pc's, a psu went & blew everything!

ernermax is a good brand,
get a 400 -450ww
550w seems too high.

are they fuck they're major brand. I've had 4 in all in different PC's over the years and had no probs from them whatsoever.
