Never been Tam but been MK a couple of times.
Think MK has a longer slope but doesn't have the dog leg that Tam has.
Also general opinion is that the snow is a better standard at MK, apparantly Tam has been very icy recently.

Yeah it has been pretty icy - only on the sections of the slope that get carved the most though - they straighten it up every couple of hours. Generally its not too bad.

I go Xscape at Castleford most of the time, only been MK when I've been driving past.
Cas seems to be the best of the indoor slopes as far as conditions go, Tam is meant to have a beeter atmosphere and is cheaper.
To be honest all the indoor slopes are a bit of a mare at the moment, all the families taking their kids for a few practice runs before the go on holiday. Little buggers are always ramming ski's into the back of your board and falling off the lift
On the plus side you see some quality crashes though.

i would actually highly recommend that you stay away from the MK Xscape as in the last couple of months it has got really bad! My brother got a big chip out of the bottom of his board and they are really starting to neglect the slopes. They also mainly only use one or the other slopes and the snow quality is crap. Just get a cheap deal to sum place in austria or any place abroad cos u wont learn anything on that snow cos it is so slow compared to real real snow!
Also it does have to be big cos there is alot in it. There is loads of shops, about 20 cinema screens and a few bars and things!!!
