well easy one for u
i used to go from Oldham to Rotherham on £10 (worked out 45miles there and 45miles back) i did this about 1000 times
and i have to say it wasent really going slow, started off on motorway and then over the woodhead pass which is a fast windly road (took it that hard once ripped my tyre off the rim) but never cost me more then £10

I get 400 miles to a fiver's worth of fuel, but then that's because the pump near me is broken.

a petrol station near me had a faulty pump once, filled the tank from empty with £10 i told everyone i knew

they got a bit suspicious when there was no-one on any other pumps and a que of modded cars for the generous pump

Depends purely on how and where you drive it.

10p/mile will be perfectly achievable on the motorway, lots of short journeys around town and it will of course be much less, thats before you factor in how heavy you are with your foot.

I did 40mpg in my Calibra Turbo on a motorway run the other day, and they are a lot heavier than Corsa's (but more aerodynamic).

Strange that the Calibra has the same drag co-efficient as a Merc C180
