Got the Voyager 205 yesterday, they said the line would be ready last night before 8pm... still this morning I'm without internet...

Anyone else have problems with the set up of anything from BT?

turn the modem off then on, sometimes when they give you a time like 8pm it can be out by a bit... if it isnt active after 24 hours on said time, ring them up.

Do you have a DSL/Internet light on the Voyager

Is it the voyager modem or the router?

Right, it's a Voyager 205 ADSL Router... I've been rebooting it all night, along with my PC, it's connected via ethernet as it's too far from my PC...

I have a steady power light, steady ethernet light, and a flashing DSL light...

They said when I rang them that the account is showing as active but there is still no capacity at the server farm...

Only thing now is that the NTL half meg lines cut off and so I got no internet except here at work and it's pishing me off lol

looks like line hasnt been fully provisioned, BT are slacking loads latley and missing install dates, allot of ISP's currently have Lawsuits with them for this issue,

normally you get the activation date but the line is enabled 1/2 days before so they can iron out any issues before the customer wants to use it.

Well we use BT lines at work, we are a private ISP run by the council for schools and libraries, I do libraries though, we have no end of shit with them!!

NTL was fucking ace compared to this shit!!

We still have no farking internet, I'm on the shitty 56K AOL Dial up now for a 10 mins...

The problem is that they have too many custommers in this area and not enough capacity in the exchange, they have engineers in the exchange making room for us and we should be connected within the next 10 years!!!

If it's gonna be like this all the time with BT then I'm gonna just get NTL 1mb!!
