Blow it with a hairdryer for hours then twist off, or hacksaw it off. Depends if you want to keep it or not.

i sat there twisting it for 10 mins, didn't make any difference at all.

If it twists then just pull up while you're twisting. Its only a friction fit.

if you still can't get it off by hand, then the best thing is Dremel
