I've been doing some lookin' and it seems that Regal and Cossvaux want another £80 for another mount if your base Corsa is a 12v or 16v (or maybe I'm mistaken?)

So, that being the case, is it best to get an 8v? Can possibly get my hands on a 1.4 8v Si Corsa. Will that suffice?

8v sri is best option.
don't need the extra body mount, plus you have the mpi fuel pump as standard.
not sure if the si is the same case. would have thought so.

as said lee mitchell will sell you the body mount for considerably less.
good quality too

Best base car is as new as possible with as little milage as possible. Depends what you want the car for too i suppose, as if your not gonna completely strip it, maybe have one with a decent interior and a few comforts .
