For nearly a month now in my XE.....

the power steering belt must have been loose and came off today arms would be made of steel having to drive the car without power steering as it stands new belt on tomorrow

i looked for a corsa without power steering and plan an XE conversion, does it make it that bad?

no but if you had powersteering and it goes, it is worse than a car designed without power steering in the first place

The steerin's fukin heavy, not to bad on the move but you get a full workout when parking

i prefer mine without it, missus corsa has it and i over turn all the time!
although better round town!

i had to refit the belt that originally came off and it will no longer stay on no matter how tight it is on so i think i shall have to buy another one tomorrow that is brand new. The one i tried to refit did look a little rough on top it's sooooo heavy with the fluid still in there but as long as it ain't doing any damage i'll live with it till tomorrow
