Got nowt to do with it, if the customs paperwork has a commercial value over £35 gift or not you will have to pay VAT etc but within Europe tax/vat is non applicable as it is in free circulation

Hence why people when sending from countried outside the EU stick the price for the goods as some sh*tty $15 or something cheap. Its deceiving but who gives a shit.

nope, if they dont not touch the parcel it will just sail through. you MAY NOT have to pay any duty at all, just depends if you are lucky or not.
ive been importing games/dvds/consols/dvd players from japan and china for ages, and only have to pay a coule of times. you just get a ticket through the door and have to go pay the post office to get your parcel.

If it comes via postal service then you will almost certainly not have to pay duty etc, its when it comes express with UPS/DHL etc and no customs dont look at every parcel, they pick random ones to inspect to check whether the paperwork ties up with the contents. Thats why writing gift on the box will make no difference, i fax hundreds of invoices to C&E every night so the parcels are pre-cleared on entry to their destination port.
