Is there any way of finding out if a car that has been wrote off was broken up or sold on to be put back on the road?

get under neath and check to see if the chassis rails have been tugged on,
if they have then its had a smash or just go to search on here and type in something like:
car search, written off etc etc was on a few days ago, or hpi check
