the computer is taking ages to load anything up (internet etc) so i tohught of running a virus scan. when i try to run a virus scan i get this message:
I looked in the quarantine and there are 30 viruses, but it wont let me delete them. it tells me:
'Symantec AntiVirus cannot perform this action on 30 of the files you selected.
Possible causes:
-the files have been moved or deleted
-the computer they are located in is turned off
-you are trying to clean files located in an email message.
Not of the above apply, and i cant delete them individualy either. The OS is windows 2000 professional.
Anyone any idea of what to do?
