Last night went drinking with mates... on the walk back home I managed to fuck my foot up (not sure how)? but my mates thought I was just joking, so left me to limp all the way home on a fucked up foot. In absolute agony today.
I think / hope it's only twisted... but its swollen and fucking hurts
Am I right in thinking, if it was broken it'd be floppy? at the moment I can't move it and when I move it / put pressure on it - it hurts. But its stiff as.

At the moment, I'm wondering how I'm going to walk to any lectures, how I'm going to drive home tonight, etc... I don't think I'm going to be able to actually leave my flat for a while...

slightly worried it's like 5 days since I did it and the foot is still hurting, very swollen and feels funny
Anyone broken their foot or anything before? how long for it to get better? I can't fit my foot in my shoe at the moment.
What do doctors tell people with broken / cracked foots to do, just rest it? like its not gonna heal itself in a dodgy way coz I'm still limping around on it is it?

I 99% broke/fractured a bone in my heel back in June and it hurt for like 2 mths and it was at least that until I could walk properly... I still get pain from it now hurts atm actually Woman I work with broke her foot March 03 and she is still limping a bit Another woman I work with broke her foot in Jan 03 and is fine so I guess it depends on the severity!

I fell off a drainpipe on New years day, thought i broke my foot, couldn't put any weight on it at all, so went to AnE that day, they x-rayed it and said it wasn't broken, but "was the most swollen he's seen a foot in ages" Hurts like fuck at the moment, 2 weeks later. So i reckon it's broken, gonna go back this week if i can be arsed.

You might of pulled a tendant or something in your foot...
One of my mates done it when playing football... was in agony for months and her foot was swollen and couldnt put any pressure on it... Was on crutches for 4 months and now she cant strain it...
OR ya could of just broken it...id say go the hospital for a scan or summat then they willsoon know whats wrong with it

The fact I just straightened it and it went 'CRACK' quite loudly suggests to me I broke it the first time and I've just done it again
