firstly i know nothing about cars.....

mine has started to make a really bad rattle, and i had a look and there is a black rubber 'holder' next to the back bumper, which looks all stressed and as though its going to snap. i think its rattling on the back bumper.

Is this a big thing to fix or not? how much about should i be looking at from a garage to get it sorted?

Exhaust hanger, my local place would do this for me for fook all! They cost about 50p or something, get down on your hands and knees and fit it yourself.....then you may learn something about cars

I used to know fuck all then learned myself how to fit Exhausts, Brakes, Suspension, most engine parts. Also fit, minor repairs to body work and spraying. Fit a full interior inc dash, repared dodgy electrics inc rewired an alarm. changes steering wheels - pretty much everything. Except engine swap - thats next

If you dont have a go you will never learn!
