First off the engine in a Corsa GSi seems to idle pretty low at around 780-820ish - is this normal?
The car drives fine and pulls cleanly - no nasty noises drives like new......BUT...... If your say on half throttle pulling though the gears driving normally up to 3k it flat spots REALLY bad around 2.6k-3k mark...
But if im booting i dont seem to get this problem.
The car needed a service so it got one and instantly the problems disapeared..... Great.. Or so i thought.
Was great for around 3 days then the same problems are happening again.
I cant work it out....
Parts replaced at the service
Plugs
Leads
Fuel Filter (i thought one of these three was giving me grief)
Oil & Filter
Water change
Normal stuff....
The only thing i could perhaps think off would be the DISPAK but - surely the problem wouldnt have gone away if it was shot....
And the Cat is ok as well....
No blowing from the exhaust.
There is no ECU light either.
Please help :confused:

mine does this, but then mine does a lot of thinigs which is why its in for the chop

Lol good news.
Just concerned that the service seemed to cure it then it come back?
Odd.
My engine for the chop soon anyhow

mine comes and goes changed leads which sorted it for a while then it comes back, i find its fine in the cold

No difference with mine chap.
Hate it because sometimes it feels like lightning other times it feels slow as fook.

out of interest has yours got a MAP sensor, its the sensor just bleow you scuttle panle has two screw type things to hold it on, mine has the screws but no sensor there! not sure if theres ment to be one or not?

c16xe didnt have a map sensor has they had maf instead!

mine had it, do u have an induction kit?
if u have that may be the problem, but
IIRC
mine did it without the indutcion kit?
