For changing the front brakes on a Micra, I assume just the pads. ITs not for me beofre I get slated. My girlfriend is living in London for 6 months and has taken her car to Kwik Fit to get the brakes looked at but a few of the people who she works with say the kwik fit she has taken it to are dodgy and always try and rip off women.

ALL kwik fits are dodgy!
Get down there and change the pads for her!

As a rough guide though, I just had disks and pads changed on my Astra and the kit was £60

Just spoken to her and they said she needs new pads and discs and they will fit them for £180. They also said that they can do them straight away as they have both brakes stripped from when they checked to see what was left on them. As far as I was aware you can check your brake pads by just removing the front wheels can you not??
