as im now fitting me xe, and need a bigger bore zaust, if i was 2 go to the likes of powerflow etc etc...
how much would i expect to pay for pipes from the manifold back including a new rear silencer with custom pipes???

i just had a 2.25" straight through, stainless system from manifold to backbox fitted for £211 at powerflow, amazing quality too

straight through system with no cat, and 2 new silencers. They also modified the backbox to take the 2.25" pipe by grinding off the old pipe and rewelding the new one.

whats the law on cats?? my understanding is that so long as it will pass emissions it doesnt have 2 have 1??

tis true. Also heard that pre 93 engines dont need one, regardless of vehicle age, but also heard from other people that the MOT goes on the age of the car. Mine passed emissions test with no cat on anyway tho
