and thought id raise the point, does this go too far? see what peoples opinions are

Its done so that people who browse through a firewall do not have access to either single pages or the entire site denied because of the content on the pages. Its especially an issue for firewalls now which share information with each other on what sites are good and bad and once we get labelled as unsuitable for a work audience its very difficult to shake that off.
