bored so just done a quote for me, fully comp on a ferrari f355 spider worth £30k
got quoted £10,883.65
which would most prob never happen if i actually applied for it
and when iv done a serioud quote for my car (2004 corsa c sxi 1.2 16v)
i get quotes of over £3k!!! (fully comp btw)
i search on autotrader for these quotes cos their system searches loads of insurance companys for you
what do people pay on there corsa c sxi's?

3k seems too much for a 1.2 16V
how old are you, and what mods are you claiming?
mine is £1100 for a 1.4 16V corsa B with bodykit and alloys. fully comp, 0 no claims

You should get used to it mate....car insurance is gonna be with you for the rest of your driving life. Its costing your parents money, so why dont you give them a token amount per week to show some appreciation.....say two pints worth
If your folks are nice enough to pay for your insurance, maybe they will put it aside to get you a nice sum towards next years when you can start your own NCB

i have just got my renewal through, bearing in mind i had an accident 22/12/04 and previous to that have been quoted £454.00 I get my renewal through £808.00
annoying thing is it's cheaper for me not to go through insurance but i cant cancel the claim til its been open 6 months because its 50/50 fault in case the other driver claims
