Hmm, i still wouldn't pay that much for it TBH. Whats the book price for a low mileage A1 example one of the same age ?

If it's genuinely as new, then age is unimportant.

Would you spend £2.5k on a 2.0 8v Astra in a showroom?

Well, Retail, as described, G reg is worth £650 and H reg is worth £825. So clearly it does matter. Thats Decembers prices.

Clean, trade values are £210 for the G-reg and £220 for the H reg.

I wouldnt say its worth it. But, in reality, if your willing to pay £2500, then its worth £2500

I wouldn't hesitate... wasting time like posting up on here means sumone could have bought it by now

The Astra GTE is much like the GSi will always sell well over normal book price if they are in MINT Condition

if you sell cars you should know that they are there as a guide, but dont take many factors into account including local variations!
