getting an engine this month.
my clocks just now are cable driven, i require 1s with a rev counter vut will the newer engine mean it gonna be electronic clocks im after

i belive the only thing you will need are electronic clocks, and also the electronic speedo cable, might aslo have to run the pea green wire from the 16v ecu to the rev counter.

yeah, one other thing mate, as i have just recently found out you should really change the fuel pump aswell as the one you have will be for SPI engine and the 1.6 will be MPI, didnt really notice it on my 1.4 (used to be a 1.2) however did have a few flat spots so may be worse on the 1.6
