Yesterday at work someone came in the shop and said there engine caught fire, went out with a fire extinguisher. It was the model same as the mk2 astra/belmount, the flames were on the manafold cos they were soked in oil. Looking at the angine, to me it looked the same as the 20xe but without the red top!!! Are they the same engine?

Couldn`t find a pic of a 2.0 but found this 8v sat in a nexia so maybe they do share the same engines.

99% sure they are, went to a scrappy before and guy said daewoo's share the same engines.

and where the hell you been hiding for the last god knows how long??

Nexia uses the Mk2 astra Chassis and shell with modifications.. 1.6 1.8 and 2.0 are all vauxhall engines

Daewoo has been part of the GM Family for a while now they aren't gonna be called Daewoo for much longer either.. becoming Cheverolet...

yep..

cant remember when the name change happens tho but you may aswell wipe the new Range of Daewoo's from your mind they'll be known as Cheverolet's soon....
