Hi,

Hi can i tell if my car is superchipped? Its a 1.6 16v sport with 106 bhp standard i think.

The reason is we don't know if the person who had it before superchipped it? Its faster than my mates gsi, last night i raced my mates Suzuki Ignis Wrc, It has a full Decat system, BMC Carbon airbox and was rolling roaded at 116BHP. My car is standard apart from a PiperX induction kit and i just pull away from him? - (Tested on a dual carriage way)

Just wondered if there is anyway i can tell if mine is chipped? it redlines at 6.8K revs, which seems pretty late for a standard car?

Any help would be great, thanks

if its a physical chip, you'll be able to see it if you open up the ECU...

if its a cust key one, and you dont have the key...... no
