I'm in the damaged repairables trade and ive been thinking about selling the corsa for something a little bit bigger and maybe more grown up
anyway ive come across an S reg 61k 1.8 sri 5 door astra, only light side damage and its going to go for about £1000, now i was thinking buy this with my student loan and then get my corsa sorted and ready for sale, as the astra is in a perfectly driveable state.
Sell the corsa and then part ex the astra against the car I really want which is a 1.9 tdi seat ibiza!
Seem reasonable? do you reckon astras fetch decent money?
Cheers

I'd get a Golf TDi before a Seat (or at least an Audi)

well there virtually the same car arent they...... but obviously cheaper!
in saying that though I really like the golfs and the audis aswell its just the potential insurance which might scupper such a move.
What does everyone reckon to the astra as a stop gap car?

The GT TDI 110 is the one to go for, its not too high on insurance and its good on the mpg.

bitch ass car went for £1300 in the end lol but yer I could have made £1500 profit including the parts needed to repair it!
Thing is I didnt want to have to repair and sell it straight away but ahwell I'll just have to look elsewhere now!
