My Astra likes to wheelspin

Fcuk knows how you peeeeps with LET corsas manage to pull away on any kind of road surface!!

Im guessing its just a case of trial and error, as im slowly getting better at lugging the fat-ass astra off the line without lighting up the tyres. But just in case im missing something I have made this post for all you nice peeps to give suggestions as to how I might get that extra bit of traction

At the minute, I just ride the clutch a little in first, then 2nd gear the throttle can be feathered in without too much fuss, but gotta be careful once the revs reach about 5k or its game over, and then 3rd gear is only a pain when the roads are wet/damp.

Heading upto Santa Pod as soon as some warmer weather arrives and I need to be able to show up my mates S13 200sx.... Muhahahaaaa!

you need to prod the clutch up and down down when you feel it losing grip then up when traction is regained, its a technique that takes time to learn and is best learnt from trisl and error

well its a matter of learning to apply the power prgressively and feathering the cluth to reduce wheel spin...when i first got mine just was in awe of it. Then started doing a few runs up the pod and managed to improve my launches beating my mates LET corsa till halfway up the strip when he tore me a new arse hole
