How does this affect eBays T&C's? Surely if you enter into an auction as the seller, you're as liable to see the sale through as the buyer?

Theres nothing legally binding in the ebay auctions. Worse that can happen is you or they leave negative feedback.

Bag of bollokcs, but most of the car auctions have the 'disclaimer'
