basically i cut out the heater knobs and mounted guages in there . . . a tacho vacuume and volt ometer , there are slight gaps around the guages so if i just clothed it up it will look neat ! just dont know wot would look decent... 
 
 how about some blue furry stuff lol ? or would carbon fibre b kool ?

no it just measn ive moved the controls eswhere .... guages look nice and not taky almost factory fitted where the heater swithces were

personally, id smooth the gauges in, and spray it , whatever colour you fancy. 
if thats how you want your car fair play, dont listen to those above.  
failing smoothing it in, trim it in leather or vynal, but deffo not and carpet type material.

why would you put heater controls in the glove box - especially when you really need them    i would have left them where they were and mounted the gauges where the flip up draw thing is

any pics of ur work ? heater controls in glove box is a new one, bit of a pain if u need to change the heat, reason they are put there is so it easy to use, but its ur car and wot makes u happy is the only thing that counts

i re started and am only usiing one dial long story i have trimmed it in acoustic carpet for a temporary measure. looks rather naff but it will do 4 now pics in bout an hour .
