well.... just found out since the day of pvs04 till a few weeks ago i was driving an uninsured car!

dads been having lots of hassle trying 2 get covernote for his festa rs.

cutting a long story short, when i swapped my policy from a festa 1.1 pop plus....to the corsa, they said yea sweet, and sent me a policy covering the corsa...

when dad asked for a cover note 2 reinsure his feista, they did not send a cover note, so he went into local branch 4 1, after loads of hassle they give him 1 in an envolope...

he went into post office 2 get tax with it and they said, erm...u have a cover note for a different reg ...

this reg being that of my old festa, that aint been on road since pvs!!!

so he said, well that was supposed 2 b uninsured and the corsa insured...they then come out with the corsa hasnt been insured since december 03!!! yet i have a certificate saying it was...

its fuckin weird??!!??

so if id have been nicked, i dint have insurance??

w$ankers!!!

I think (not 100% sure though) that if you have a cover note saying you are insured then thats you insured even if they say your not. It could be voided for other reasons though i assume, like not declaring all mods etc.

nah mods all declared etc etc, but they sent me a certificate, 2 say i was, but thhey say according to them, ive never been insured
