im wondering if anyone can help me with a few qs.
My brother bought a 200sx s13 the other week and the crashed it a day later (dont laugh) He had all the steering fixed and a few days ago he realises it was out of oil and stated smoking so filled it right up. i think hes put too much in, its still smoking and he says the turbo doesnt work or kick in so i think hes seized it up coz of no oil. he also says there is oil all ove rthe outlet pipe from the turbo.
Now what should he do?
He wants to fix it and is trying to find a replacement standard t25 turbo. Will another maybe bigger turbo go straight on or not? Also is all he will have to replace is the turbo?

sounds like he needs some common sence to! if its outa oil he sould have done lots of damage to the engine! and as its somking id get it rebuilt anyway

he needs to take it to a grage where people know what they are doing, the turbo not spooling could be due to the oil issue or an electrical fault or even split hoese's, i suggest getting on the owners club board or going to a Nissan dealership or a performance garage who will be able to advise.

but seriously tho he sounds like he's bought a car with absolutely no clue how to run it/maintain it or even drive...
smoky turbo & not spooling/oil on outlet sounds like the shortage of oil has fooked it good & proper - seals, etc all gone!
